Can not recommend these guy highly enough

"The guys (2) arrived nice and early in the morning, they were very polite and promptly donned masks and those little booties to protect your floors/carpets. In less than I would say five mins after arrival they were busy removing the old boiler, they continued this work ethic for the entire time they were with us and also every single time they left the house for a tool etc removed and then replaced their booties. I can not recommend these guy highly enough from the original phone call to the curtesy phone call today they have been nothing but extremely professional."

This company has been a model of professionalism, they keep you informed all the way through the process, the two guys that came to do the install were extremely polite with a fantastic work ethic. "We used Mayne Heating in order to have a new boiler installed. The service we received was first class throughout. From the first point of contact via the receptionist, to the completion of the job by the hard-working and knowledgeable engineers. Any questions we had, during and after, the installation, were answered fully and competently by this very pleasant team. We also received a follow up phone call the next day, to check everything was running smoothly and that we are happy with the results. We certainly are. We are planning to use Mayne Heating again in the future for further jobs. We highly recommend them."

What a magnificent company.

"What a magnificent company. After several heating engineers coming to my home and changing things my heating started working. However two weeks later it stopped no heat to radiator

A heating engineer had previously changed a pump. I decided to call Mayne a man came out did a fault finding exercise and told me the problem

Darren Mayne came out the next day and went through everything with me. They commenced work the following week. Two fabulous lads came out protected my carpets extremely polite. Finished the job after two days. Heating worked perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. They definitely restored my faith in excellent heating engineers that knew their trade with expertise. Highly recommend this company and will only ever use them in the future. Many thanks to Darren Mayne and the highly efficient lads that did the work."

"A freezing cold day in February. No hot water or heating and water running across the kitchen floor. Called three plumbers but no reply. Tried Mayne gas and heating who answered on first ring. The very helpful young lady said she would have someone with us within the hour. Mark arrived and introduced his self on entry to the house and within minutes identified the source of the leak. He explained that he would have to remove a section of wall panelling to repair the leak and this was done so neatly we were later able to replace the panelling exactly as it was. Mark refilled the system, bled the radiators and tested the boiler until he was satisfied all was well, top man. Job done in two hours at a reasonable price. We will be using Mayne for all our plumbing and heating requirements."

"Following our excellent experience of having a new boiler installed at our own property we had no hesitation in contacting Darren to assess the problem with the boiler at our tenanted property. From advising and quoting for a new boiler and accepting the quote for a Worcester boiler, within 3 days this was fitted by his team. From start to finish the work was carried out by pleasant and competent engineers, Would highly recommend this Company."

"The Mayne team helped us in our hour of need after a Boxt boiler installation left us with a gas leak and a water leak. After Boxt said they wouldn’t send someone to stop the leak for another 3 days, I called Mayne instead. They immediately had someone come and stop the leak and a few days later returned to restore our water connection. Throughout, they have shown incredible professionalism in helping us. We could not be more grateful for their rapid response, and also their intuitive solution to restore our water connection without damaging our bathroom. We have reached out to Mayne to thank them, but also want to make it public that this team are absolute superstars. In a world full of cowboy traders, companies like Mayne really do restore your faith in people." 

Well deserved reputation

"Mayne Gas Heating have just completed a boiler repair call out for me. This is the first time I have used them and I chose them from their online reputation, in particular that they are Trading Standards approved. I had a previous "Not at all good" experience with another local heating company and was quite wary on this occasion. I had no need to be - Mayne Gas Heating lived up to their reputation. The engineer, Shaun arrived when he said he would, letting me know in advance. He quickly diagnosed the problem, resolved it and then carried out a service on the boiler. What I particularly liked was the fact that he explained in straight forward terms what he had done, why he had done it and gave good advice. There was no hard sell or unnecessary work , just a professional job from a polite and personable employee who inspired confidence in his company. The safety certificate and job report was emailed to me within a couple of hours. Their charges are fully explained before hand and are reasonable. Absoutely no hesitation in recommending Mayne Gas Heating - we will certainly use them again." 

Such a reputable plumbing firm in this area

"Just before Christmas, we had a bodged boiler installation resulting in a gas leak and a major water leak. (A well known boiler company had subcontracted our boiler installation to 'Have a go Joe' and his dad). We got the gas leak sorted but the water leak continued after the plumber who had been sent by the company to fix the gas leak said we didn't have a water leak. Yet, water was running down the walls! Exasperated at the whole thing, I decided to try an emergency plumber instead. Despite it being the busy festive season, the Mayne team turned up within the hour to help us. It transpired that we did indeed have a water leak, as a main water pipe had been hit during the boiler installation. Reminiscent of Hercules, George from Mayne ran into our house and immediately ripped the pipes out of the wall and ceiling to stop the leak. This rapidly brought the situation under control and in the process, he heroically saved our home from further damage. Today, Mayne returned to restore the water supply to the upstairs of our property. They have taken the utmost care to not cause more damage and even cleaned up after. During what has been a horrendous couple of weeks also involving having to move into a hotel, the team from Mayne have been absolutely shining stars. Not only are they consummate professionals in their trade, but also thoroughly decent people. We are extremely lucky to have such a reputable plumbing firm in this area. Thank you to the entire Mayne team for everything you've done for us to get us back up and running.

P.S. If you are comparing local plumbers or gas engineers locally, Mayne has an entire page on their website just to list all of the professional accreditations they have. The original company who installed of our boiler couldn’t even tell us if the installers were both gas safe registered! So that tells you all you need to know, including who you should be hiring for any gas or plumbing work in Grimsby or Cleethorpes (spoiler alert: Mayne!)." 

Heroes don't wear capes but they do carry a toolbox

"Mayne Gas Heating recently came to our rescue after a bodged boiler installation by a supposed leading national installers of boilers. Not only had we been left with a gas leak by the original installer, but water was pouring down our walls. I’ve covered what happened on Mayne’s Google review page. But, I also want to share some words here too because there is not enough praise I can give to these wonderful people. Mayne was not responsible for any of the issues we experienced. Yet, they were the ones who have put everything right and in the most professional way possible. When we contacted the original installer, we were told it would be another 3 days for a plumber to be sent to stop the water leak. We called Mayne instead and they came within the hour! Today, Mayne has also restored the plumbing to the upstairs of our property. Their work was so neat, you can barely tell we’ve had anyone in. When you experience cowboy traders it’s really difficult to let people back into your home. Mayne has restored our faith not just in tradespeople as well as people to be quite honest. We were extremely lucky to find them on Google.

Also, Mayne is one of just FIVE plumbing companies in Grimsby to be accredited by CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering). That tells you all you need to know, especially if you’re a customer currently in search of a plumber or gas engineer in the local area.
