"Just had a new boiler fitted by Mayne, from the girls answering the phones, to Darren with his help and advice to Jordan and George who fitted the boiler with care and professionalism, and helped us with how the boiler and new thermostat worked (top guys). Remove / Install Complete Central Heating System
"After recommendation from a family member and from 1st discussions to completion, the removal and installation was carried out to a very high standard. Over 3 days Charlie Jacob George and Jason worked tirelessly to complete and nothing was too much effort. They explained everything to me as they went along. The Mayne thing is customer service
"I recently had an entirely new gas central heating system installed. The survey was carried out less than 12 hours after my initial enquiry and the quote was supplied within a week. Charlie Smith and his young team did an excellent job with the installation. It was completed on time, so far everything is working well and I'm happy with the quality of the workmanship. The lads were punctual, polite and, on the whole, tidy workers. A couple of issues arose involving accidental damage to my property but these were rectified. Overall, the customer service was very impressive."
Superb service from start to finish
"Superb service from start to finish.
We had a new boiler installed and a new immersion tank
It was a complicated job as we have an ancient one-pipe heating system and we have never been able to get hot water independently from the boiler without having the heating on.
Darren came and assessed the work needed and it was absolutely no problem.
We were allocated 2 days for the work and Darren arrived to oversee everything on the day with Matt, Charlie and George and the lads stayed for 2 days solid - Matt came back on the third day to finish off the cosmetic stuff
There was no nipping off to fit other jobs in between
We are now toasty and have independent hot water

Mayne has to be the best company I have employed in years. Jordan and George were so efficient, thorough, polite and professional. They made the job seem effortless, plus it was very reasonably priced. The results were far beyond my expectations and I am thrilled to bits with the look of my new shower tray and cubicle. From the first visit from surveyor Steve, the whole experience has been seamless. All the staff, from office to site, have been first class and thank you lads for observing the safe distance and mask wearing rules. I felt very safe in your hands. Thank you also for wearing shoe protectors and for all the dust sheets on the floor. What a smashing job, I could recommend Mayne to the world!

"What a pleasant change. I rang, booked and paid for a service. I received a copy of all the details and timings. Then on the date and time specified a very pleasant Mayne engineer knocked on my door and serviced very well my air source heat pump and associated parts. Cleaning all the way, covid safe. Left no mess and was an excellent representative of this company. I would recommend these to anyone. Plus they were also alot more reasonably priced than others I had contacted."

"It’s not the best time when you need a new boiler but after contacting Mayne and speaking to Darren, the process was quick and easy. I am very pleased with everything from start to finish. From the quote and finance options to the actual installation. I was kept informed and nothing was too much trouble. Matt who installed my boiler was professional and did a fab job. Hot water cylinder replacement
"We accepted a quote from Mayne Gas to replace two old water cylinders with a modern unit and we were booked a day and a half within two weeks of acceptance. Charlie and George arrived promptly and both were polite and worked tirelessly so that within the first day we had both hot water and heating back. Everywhere was left clean and tidy and i would have no hesitation in both recommending the company and use them again, thank you to Darren and all the team for a fantastic job, you should be very proud of how your guys approach their work in these difficult times."

"We have replaced our central heating boiler with a model recommended by Darren Mayne and we are delighted with the results, previously we have never had enough heating to all areas of our large house despite a large boiler recommended by the previous supplier, Darren and his team diagnosed that there was a fault in the pipework and have changed this with a great improvement in the heating performance. Darren kept us update at all times with the issues to avoid a nasty surprises with the bill and I am please to say that the invoice was exactly as originally quoted. Great service!"

"Charlie from Mayne Gas fitted a Nest thermostat. It was a very professional job and whilst the installation was not as straightforward as expected Charlie took a great deal of time and care to make sure it was right. He neatly finished off the unavoidable slight disruption to the tiles from removal of the old control panel and the fitting of the new one. It was almost impossible to see where the work had been undertaken after he had finished it.. Service was delivered on time and in a friendly way. Charlie took time to show me the basics relating to how the Nest worked which was helpful. Whilst Charlie was the engineer on site it would be remiss not to mention the members of the admin team at Mayne Gas who efficiently arranged appointments/invoicing etc"
Really Great Job
"Charlie from Mayne Gas fitted a Nest thermostat for me. The job was not as straightforward as anticipated but Charlie persisted until everything was in order and working well. The service was first class - Charlie even made good the inevitable disturbance to some tiles at the point where the old control panel was removed and the new one fitted - it was almost impossible to see any disturbance after he had finished. The admin team at Mayne Gas dealt very efficiently with the appointment/ invoicing arrangements. All in all a really great service delivered in a professional and friendly manner and at a reasonable price. Phil"

"I just feel I want to commend the young man Jordan whom came to service our boiler today. On arrival it became very obvious what a polite manner and lovely disposition he had. He carried out the boiler service in a prompt clean manner and gave me full feed back with regards to the condition/parts of the boiler - I have to say I've never had any kind of feedback after a service like this in the 13 years. I can only say your company is all the more better for having such a skillfull polite employee whom got on with his job to his highest standard and feel he deserves the recognition. Oh yes he also reminded (me minus the beard of course) of Olly Murs 😉"
New boiler and radiator fitted
"Received an e.mail to let me know boiler was due its annual service. Contacted the office to arrange a visit.Engineer turned up as planned introduced him self as Jordan came in and got down to work. Unfortunately it was past its sell by date after 25 years can't grumble. Jordan said he would arrange for survey to be done.Phone call from the office with a time and date and it would be Darren to do the survey. Along comes Darren on time introduced himself. Its nice to have someone with a lot of knowledge and experience what he suggested was just the ticket. We also wanted the radiator in the hall replacing no problem Darren said. After taking everything into account he said I will send you two quotes in a couple of days as he was not in the office the next day sure enough two quotes turn up in my inbox. I rang the office to accept one of the quotes the young lady said Darren would call me back which he did to discus which one we where going with. He said if he could get the boiler from his supplier would Thursday & Friday 23 /24 July be OK this week we agreed 23rd turned up along with Jordan and Marc who both worked tirelessly all day on both days. 100% satisfied A first class team of workers including the ladies in the office."
In Our Opinion...
"Mayne sent us a reminder that our gas central heating boiler required servicing. We booked an appointment to have the boiler and gas fire serviced, however, just before the appointment we went into 'lockdown'. Mayne contacted us and asked if we are prepared to go ahead with the work and we agreed. On the agreed date, the engineer arrived promptly, was polite, sociable, and completed the work to our complete satisfaction. He cleaned up after himself, not that he made a great deal of mess, we all kept to our social distance and he respected our home and property. We have used Mayne on several occasions over the past year and always found them reliable, polite, and friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending them to others."
Get Response and Very Quick
"A boiler breakdown is an inconvenience at the best of times but when it happens 2 weeks into a 12 week (at least) home self-isolation, because of the coronavirus virus, and the Easter Bank Holiday only 3 days away, it becomes somewhat more than an inconvenience. I contacted Mayne Gas Heating Ltd. late afternoon of the 7/4/20 and spoke with Darren who called on his way home to assess the fault. (all the time maintaining much more than the recommended 2 meters distance between us) His conclusion was that the "diverter valve" was faulty and to leave it with him. In less than 24 hours the job was done and the boiler was back on. The whole episode was dealt with in a professional, a courteous, a quick, and a painless (to me) manner, for which I extend my heartfelt thanks to "Mayne""

They were extremely helpful on the phone & we had an engineer with us within the hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem, gave us a quote & started fixing it. "We are delighted with our experience with Mayne Gas Heating from first contact to completion and follow-up call. We have been living with an elderly relative because of COVID 19, so did not have an existing relationship with local tradespeople. When a leak occurred, we decided it was a good time to change the ageing boiler and some radiators. Mayne responded quickly to the leak, sending someone to assess the job and prevent further leakage. The next day Darren Mayne came in person. His advice was very sound, and he came up with a very reasonable quotation for the work. The two-man team who carried out the work could not have been better - they did a very good job, were friendly, polite and neat, and finished everything on time. Everyone who came to the house was sensitive about the need to protect our high-risk relative from any COVID risk, wearing masks and respecting social distancing. We shall certainly use Mayne again."

"When the boiler broke last week, in the middle of the current lockdown and furlough situation, I was very dubious whether I could find anyone to take a look at it ! However I needn’t have worried because the team at Mayne’s were able to respond quickly to the challenge and after identifying the problem (which proved to be an expensive fix to a very old boiler), they managed to source, install and have a brand new boiler operational within 48hrs. "Yet again 5 star service from this gas plumbing business - in brief we had a heating system failure which turned out to be a downstairs leak, they came out very quickly and when it was diagnosed as a larger job they fitted it in on a Friday, offering a very reasonable quote for a large job - re-routing the heating via the upstairs piping with minimal disruption and mess. Great service, completed promptly and they continue to turn up when they say they will!"
